The property at Manor Avenue is a 4-storey Victorian semi-detached house in Brockley, South London.

The client’s brief was to remodel and restore the upper 2 storeys into 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a hallway, in keeping with the Victorian character throughout the rest of the house. Fg Addo Architects were appointed to produce the concept designs, detailed designs, and specifications and source the materials and labour for the works.

We achieved a seamless, elegant, and stylish restoration through the re-use of the existing floorboards, new bespoke window shutters, restored sash windows, and new fully polished cast iron radiators. We created a feature wall on the landing by incorporating integrated wall-to-wall bookshelves on the landing to house the client’s book collection.
